How to Request a Match for Your PTSA Donation

Option 1: I want to donate directly through my employer

If you haven’t donated yet, you can often give directly through Benevity:

  1. Log in to your company’s Benevity portal.
  2. Search for our Tax ID: 94-2895956.
  3. Choose to donate via credit card or payroll deduction. Your company’s matching funds will automatically be calculated and sent to us alongside your donation!

Option 2: I’ve already made a donation to the PTSA

If you recently made a donation via cash, check, or on our website, you can request a match from your employer:

  1. Save your receipt: Keep your PTSA donation receipt or confirmation email handy.
  2. Log in to your company’s giving portal: Access your employer’s HR or employee benefits portal and navigate to the Benevity section.
  3. Search for our PTSA: Enter our Tax ID: 94-2895956.
  4. Submit your match request: Enter the donation amount, date, and upload a photo or screenshot of your receipt. Your company will process the match and send the funds directly to us!

Bonus: Earn Money for Your Volunteer Hours!

Does your company offer Volunteer Grants through Benevity? If you volunteer your time with the Gunderson High PTSA (helping at events, serving on the board, etc.), you can log those hours in Benevity. Many companies send a monetary grant to the PTSA for every hour you volunteer!
